Therapy
I offer a supportive and compassionate environment to focus on your unique needs. I work with children, young people and adults using a number of different therapeutic models depending on the issues including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and a counselling approach. This allows me to support adults, children, young people, and families through a wide spectrum of emotional and behavioral challenges.
These challenges may include depression and low mood, anxiety and panic disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, and issues related to low self-esteem. Additionally, I provide guidance for those navigating difficult life transitions such as divorce, bullying, bereavement, and loss.
I am also experienced in addressing pre-school and school-related difficulties, as well as challenges related to neurodiversity, including ADHD and Autism. Furthermore, I offer parenting advice and support for family and relationship issues, with a particular focus on family transitions - pregnancy, early parenthood and adolescence. Together, we can work towards fostering resilience and emotional well-being in both individuals and their families.
Sessions are online or in person in Banstead £130. I am registered with most major health insurance providers.
Neurodevelopmental assessment
I provide these assessments alongside another experienced Clinical Psychologist. We are dedicated to providing high quality informative assessments for Autism and ADHD for individuals aged five and above. With convenient locations in Banstead and Sutton in Surrey, we are here to support you and your family through this journey.
We have extensive experience working with both children and adults with neurodevelopmental conditions, through our work in the NHS and private sector. We pride ourselves on delivering comprehensive assessments that adhere to the guidelines set by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), and provide a psychological understanding and a springboard for positive change with clear and helpful recommendations for next steps.
We believe in a neuroaffirmative approach, which celebrates the strengths and resilience of each individual we work with, while also providing the necessary support for challenges and fostering positive change. We understand that each assessment is not just a process but an opportunity for growth and understanding.
Supervision
I provide clinical supervision for Clinicians providing assessments and therapy to adults, children and young people. Clinical supervision is crucial to ensuring we provide the best possible service to our clients. I am an accredited Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) Supervisor and provide supervision to Clinicians working both in the NHS and in the private sector.
